Empowerment

Ayana Zaki aims to break this cycle by designing and implementing programs that economically empower young girls.

FLAGSHIP PROGRAM
Entrepreneurial Training & Empowerment (ETEP) Program
ETEP is a two year program that offers comprehensive support to girls in search of economic empowerment.
We bring together girls from vulnerable communities, organize them into self help groups and fund their business ideas.
Beyond this, we also connect the beneficiaries to resources such as mentors, financial literacy and life skills classes and business opportunities.
In order to avoid the traps of poverty the program also focuses on enrolling the participants into NHIF, a comprehensive healthcare scheme, for themselves and their children.
